Shenzhen Company held the analysis meeting on the operation situation during Jan.- Sep. 2009
On October 23, 2009 afternoon, Shenzhen Company held the analysis meeting on the operation situation during January to September 2009., the board chairman Xie Baitang, general manager Xie Weiliang, secretary of CCP Committee Dong Lianbo and vice general manager Lan Binnan, Song Youjun attended the meeting, and all staff of Shenzhen Company headquarters and the major responsible persons of the enterprises under the Group and some officials participated in the analysis meeting.
The meeting was chaired by vice general manager Lan Binnan.
Secretary Dong Lianbo made the Analysis Report on the Business Operation during January to September 2009 on behalf of the leading group. He introduced the incomes and gross profit of the main business of Shenzhen Company kept ahead, its comprehensive plan completion rate ranked third, and its profit ranked second in the civil products enterprises and Shenzhen Company would complete various operation indicators for the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” in advance. He then gave detailed explanation on the situation of foreign trade, property management, industry and hotel, reported the progress of high-end hotel, analyzed the economic status of various companies and gave corresponding management proposal.
In accordance with the Business Operation During January to September 2009, during January to September 2009, comparing the same period of 2008, the business return of Shenzhen Company increased 15.19%, the total profit had a great growth up to 94.72%; economic value added increased 102.91%; the asset status was good, debt-paying ability and operation efficiency of assets had a large improvement. The asset quality had a further improvement than the first half of 2009; the capital flow status was good, operation activities still created sufficient cash flow, and the general operation of Shenzhen Company was sound. Dong pointed out that for China, the year 2009 is the most difficult in the new century. In the influence of the international financial crisis, we were proud of that Shenzhen Company achieved the said operation result during January to September. Based on Dong’s instructions, we should try our best to complete this year’s targets, especially ten main works; arranged the strategic targets of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” and studied the spirit of the fourth CCP plenary session of the 17th board and strengthen and improve the Party construction of Shenzhen Company.
In the aspect of Party construction, Dong emphasized that the Party construction of stated-owned enterprises is a major political advantage of enterprises and is also a fundamental characteristic of establishing modern enterprise system. To fully utilize the Party’s political advantage is the key factor for realizing enterprise’s scientific development and strengthening enterprise’s core competition power. Dong required that to study and implement the spirit of the fourth CCP plenary session of the 17th board should be an important political task of the Party committee of Shenzhen Company, and various study activities should be performed by virtue of part-time Party training school and network college; we should summarize and use the effective method of Party construction of Shenzhen Company, further emancipate thought, and fully strengthen and improve the Party construction work of Shenzhen Company in the new situation; we should strengthen the leading group’s function and fully utilize the political center action of Party organization and practically enhance the creativity, coherence and working capacity of Party organization; we should strengthen education and training to Party members so that they could show an exemplary role in work, keep close contact with the public and provide satisfactory services to the public; we should carry forward democracy, strengthen supervision, implement the Party affairs and Company affair open, fully implement clean and honest administration responsibility system and realize scientific decision-making; we should accommodate the new requirements of setting up modern enterprise system, the new characteristics of market competition in international and domestic market and the new changes of the Company’s Party members and the staff in thought and interest; we should fully improve the level of political and ideological work and create good environment for scientific development, harmonic development and sustainable development of the Company.
Then general manager Xie Weiliang explained the data about the operation analysis report of Shenzhen Company, introduced the modification, development and progress of foreign trade, Electrical Company, Cutter Company, Air Conditioner Company, Property Management Company, Real Estate Company and high-end hotel, and pointed out the modification and development of operation structure of Shenzhen Company would show its effectiveness since 2010, the income and profit of Shenzhen Company would have a great turn and its development would be more sound and scientific. Afterwards, following the practice, Xie gave the special lecture of business management titled Layout in Development and Development in Layout to the officials and employees attending the meeting. In the lecture, Xie set forth business layout and enterprise’s development, how Shenzhen Company to make layout, the challenge from the new layout against the Company, how to promote the layout’s development and requirements to the departments, units and employees.
Xie Baitang, board chairman of Shenzhen Company, made an important speech in the meeting. Xie said that he was very satisfactory to the excellent operation performance and good employee team of Shenzhen Company when he attended the operation analysis meeting first as board chairman. He pointed out that we should see the gap in the operation structure and development besides the achievement. Board chairman Xie called on our officials and employees to further emancipate thought, grasp opportunities, speed up development, strengthen core competition power and actively prepare and implement an aggressive development plan in order to realize sound, scientific and sustainable development.
